Gift Cards
The Potteries Shopping Centre Gift Card works in the same way as other MasterCard, Maestro banking cards and can be used at participating retailers that accept MasterCard Maestro. You can deposit up to £1,000 on a single card and it can be used as many times until the balance has been exhausted.
The Potteries Shopping Centre Gift Card can be spent in over 70 shops and cafe's.
Gift Card FAQ's
1. WHERE CAN I USE MY GIFT CARD?
You may use your Gift Card at participating retailers within the following shopping centres owned or operated by Capital Shopping Centres PLC, including; Braehead, Renfrew; Chapelfield, Norwich; Eldon Square, Newcastle; Lakeside, Thurrock; MetroCentre, Gateshead; The Chimes, Uxbridge; The Glades, Bromley; The Harlequin, Watford; and Victoria Centre, Nottingham, The Potteries; Stoke on Trent.
2. HOW DO I USE THE CARD?
Firstly, sign the card on the reverse. When you wish to spend on the card simply present it to a participating retailer in the same way as any other debit card. The retailer will process the transaction and ask you to sign the debit card receipt in the normal way. It is always a good idea to check your balance before spending on the card.
3. WHERE CAN I CHECK MY BALANCE?
You may check your balance at the shopping centre Customer Service desk, online at www.flex-e-card.com, or by telephoning Customer Services on 0844 744 4277. Please remember to quote the unique passcode that is shown on the receipt supplied with your Gift Card.
4. WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE LOST MY GIFT CARD?
If you lose your Gift Card please telephone Customer Services on 0844 744 4277. You will not be responsible for any transactions on the card after notifying Customer Services.
5. DO ANY CHARGES APPLY?
No charges are applied to Gift Cards. However the Gift Card expires 12 months after issue. Any balance remaining on the card after this date will not be refunded. The exact expiry date of your Gift Card is shown on the receipt supplied with your Gift Card.
6. DOES MY GIFT CARD NEED TO BE ACTIVATED?
If your Gift Card was purchased at a shopping centre it does not need to be activated. If it was purchased online and delivered by post or courier it will require activation. Please follow the instructions provided in the shipping confirmation email received following purchase of the card. If you need any assistance with card activation please contact Customer Services on 0844 774 4277.

Whether you’re staying all day or just for a short visit, The Potteries Shopping Centre has parking facilities to suit your needs.
Multi-Storey Car Park.
With over 1200 parking spaces, including designated spaces for disabled shoppers and parent and child bays, parking could not be easier at The Potteries Shopping Centre. We've been awarded the Park Mark Secure Car Park Award for the 6th year running.

Parent & Child Parking Bays
The multi storey car park opens at 8am Monday to Saturday and closes an hour after the Centre closes, so 7pm Monday to Saturday and Thursday at 9pm. On Sunday the car park opens at 9.30am and closes at 5pm.
Please note times may vary due to seasonal opening hours and extended store trading times.
Parent & Child Parking Bays
The Potteries Shopping Centre has 23 dedicated Parent & Child car parking bays on its multi-storey car park on levels 6C and 3C, close to the entrances, to make it easier for parents with children under 3 years old to park and access the centre.
Parents wishing to use this facility can pick up a special parking permit from the Customer Services Desk with information about how to use the facility and a handy window sticker to display the car’s registration number and age of the child for the Centre’s car park security to see.
If you are a parent with a child under 3 and would like to use our Parent & Child parking facilities please collect a parking permit from the Customer Services Desk, fill it in and display it in your car window on each visit. Standard car parking charges apply.
Car Parking charges are:
Monday to Saturday £1.20 per hour (or part thereof) maximum charge £10.
Weekdays after 4pm £1.50 for the duration.
Sunday maximum charge £1.50.
Entrances to the car park can be found on Bryan Street and Quadrant Road.
Shopmobility can be found on Level 1 of the multi-storey car park accessed by Bryan Street entrance.
Park for Less after 4pm
You can park for less on our multi-storey car park on weekdays after 4pm for just £1.50.
Long Stay Car Park
Visitors who want to stay a bit longer and employees can now park on the new Long Stay Pay and Display car park on Bryan Street Monday to Saturday between the hours of 7.00am and 6.30pm for a fixed charge of £3.50. Sunday maximum charge is £1.50. Parking is free overnight between the hours of 6.30pm and 7.00am.
The long stay car park is open 24 hours a day.
Free Electric Vehicle Charging Points
Customers are able to recharge their electric cars during the course of a normal shopping trip.
The 2 bays are located on Level 1 of the multi-storey car park. No pre-booking is necessary. Recharging cable and tag can be hired from the Customer Service Desk.

Coach parking is available on Bryan Street car park.

Leave the M6 at Junction 16 on to the A500.

From the West

Multi storey car park
Entrances to the car park can be found on Bryan Street and Quadrant Road.
Car Parking charges are £1.20 per hour or part thereof. On Sundays, car parking charges are £1.50 per stay.
The multi storey car park opens at 8am Monday to Saturday and closes an hour after the Centre closes, so 7pm Monday to Saturday and Thursday at 9pm. On Sunday the car park opens at 10.30 and closes at 6pm.

Long stay car park
Entrance to the long stay car park can be found on Bryan Street.
Charges are £3.50 all day.
The long stay car park is open 24 hours a day.
By Bus
The Potteries Shopping Centre is well served by bus with services from many areas. There are bus stops right outside the centre and the city centre bus station is only 10 minutes walk away.
Bus stops for the centre can be found on Quadrant Road, Stafford Street, Albion Street, Old Hall Street and Town Road.

On Foot
There are four entrances into the centre.
If you live or work close to The Potteries Shopping Centre why not consider walking? It’s free, a great way of getting some exercise and you may be surprised how close it is.
At an average walking speed you can cover a mile in 20 minutes. Stoke-on-Trent’s cycle map may help you in planning your route. It can be downloaded or ordered from Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Entrances to the centre can be found on Market Square, Town Road, Quadrant Road and Stafford Street.

By Train
The nearest railway station is Stoke-on-Trent.
There are regular train services from Crewe, Derby, Macclesfield, Stafford and Wolverhampton.
From there you can catch one of the many frequent buses from the bus stop outside the station, the journey time being less than 10 minutes.

Traveline Midlands
Ask for a Stoke-on-Trent PLUSBUS ticket when you buy your train ticket and for an extra £2 you can travel free of charge for a whole day on most local bus services to / from the City Centre and anywhere else in the City.
By Cycle or Motorbike
Free cycle racks are available around the outside of the centre. Cycles are not permitted in the centre.
Cycling is good for you and for the environment. It's fast, convenient, gives you freedom and independence. It is reliable and takes you from door to door.

National Route 5 passes The Potteries Shopping Centre and follows useful greenways through the centre of Stoke-on-Trent using canal towpaths and disused railways.
A free Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme cycling map can be downloaded or ordered from Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Cycle parking is available on Quadrant Road just off Route 5, opposite the entrances to the car park and in Town Road.
We always advise that you double-check your travel arrangements with the transport providers, before setting off to The Potteries Shopping Centre.
Disabled Facilities
The centre has many disabled facilities including disabled toilets on the roof level and in Debenhams. You can hire wheelchairs from the Customer Services Desk on the Upper Mall and there are designated disabled parking spaces on each level in the car park with direct access to the shops.
Run by Stoke on Trent City Council there are also changing facilities next to Shopmobility with facilities such as hoists and showers which can be accessed by a Radar key from Shopmobility.
Shopmobility
Do you have a disability which has stopped you getting around the city centre? Then Shopmobility could be just what you need.
How to use Shopmobility
You should book the equipment beforehand to make sure you get the equipment you want, especially at busy times.
On your first visit, you will need to bring identification such as a water, gas, electricity bill or a driving licence, so you can register with the scheme.
If you are using a motorised chair or scooter, a member of staff will show you how it works and once you feel confident and safe you can take the equipment into the city centre.
You then return the equipment to us at the end of your visit. This service is free but we welcome your donations.
Shopmobility is open from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
As from Friday 1st April 2011, the following charges were introduced to cover the costs of the service provision:
- Annual membership charge: £24
- Full Members daily usage charge: £2
- Temporary Members daily charge: £5

Family Facilities
Baby changing and feeding rooms are available with nappy vending machines if required and can be found located on the Roof Mall next to the toilets or within Debenhams.

Toilets
Gents, Ladies, Disabled toilets and Baby Change can be found on Level 6 by Next menswear. There are also toilets available on Level 3 within Debenhams by the menswear department.
Our toilets have recently been refurbished. Any comments on our toilets please speak to a member of staff.
